Maxwell Lane
Director
Maxwell Lane began his career at Diamond Traders in 1965. He achieved a Diploma of Gemmology in 1968 and in 1971 Founded Gemtec Pty Ltd and commenced trading as a precious gemstone wholesaler.
Maxwell is still managing director and owner of Gemtec, which has been at the forefront of Australian gemstones and jewellery for over 36 years and has grown to become one of Australia's largest gemstone companies. In 2006, Maxwell and his daughter Alex launched MAX Diamonds, a new and exciting branch of Gemtec Pty Ltd that specialises in loose diamonds and stunning diamond jewellery.
Maxwell has the enthusiasm, wisdom and skill that can only be derived from so many years of experience in the jewellery and gemstone industry.
Alex Lane
General ManagerAlex also completed a Practical Diamond Grading course and a Jewellery design course with the Gemmological Association of Australia and together with her father, Maxwell Lane, launched MAX Diamonds.
This has allowed her to combine both her design and photography skills with her experience and passion for the jewellery industry.
Robyn Lewis
Executive Assistant
Robyn Lewis works closely with Maxwell and Alex Lane sharing in this exciting new aspect of the jewellery and diamond business.
In addition to her years of experience in the jewellery industry, Robyn is a qualified jewellery designer and diamond grader and will help you in any way she can with your diamond selection and the creation of a design.
Melissa Beal
Sales Executive
Melissa Beal, a qualified gemmologist and diamond grader has been working within the Jewellery and Gemstone industry in Australia and London since 2000. Joining us in February 2008, she is the newest member of the MAX Diamonds team.
Her love of jewellery and all things that sparkle began while undertaking a bachelor of Applied Arts (hon.) in jewellery design at the University of South Australia.
Melissa’s creative design skills combined with years of jewellery industry experience make her the perfect consultant for all your jewellery needs.
