The only store of its kind in Australia, ‘MAX’ has been developed to delight customers with a unique diamond shopping experience. MAX, managed and directed by father and daughter Maxwell and Alex Lane, is a new and exciting branch of Gemtec PTY LTD, a company that has been at the forefront of Australian gemstones and superior quality jewellery since 1971.
 Until now, Gemtec has been designing diamond rings by request. In 2006, Alex joined the company and together they saw a unique opportunity to cater to a new generation of customers. Personal consultations by appointment only are savoured with a glass of champagne, an espresso and a private view of the MAX collection.
People today are cost conscious, and want the best quality and the best customer service for their money. By offering wholesale prices and taking care of each customer, MAX is providing a completely new ‘shopping experience’ that is often lacking in today’s overwhelming and often impersonal jewellery trade.
 The purchase of any diamond jewellery can be a daunting task. By visiting MAX you will be looked after by trained gemologists, designers and certified diamond graders who will be able to answer any questions you have while you browse the diverse selection available at the 10th floor showroom. All of our diamonds are conflict free and every diamond over 0.50ct comes with an internationally recognized certificate from HRD, IGI or GIA. Most of our diamonds are also laser inscribed on the girdle for added security and piece of mind.
 MAX offers certified loose diamonds to suit any budget, some clients have even decided to propose with the diamond alone, so that their fiancé can choose whatever ring design she desires. We also have earrings, pendants, cufflinks, wedding bands and even anniversary rings to choose from or we can sit down with you and help you design your very own unique piece of jewellery.
