How to place a Lay-by

Placing a lay-by with MAX Diamonds is easy.

You can lay-by for up to 26 weeks, depending on the value of your order. Simply make an agreed deposit when you place your lay-by and then the balance will then be divided into monthly payments. For your convenience you can also nominate a starting date for your payments based around your pay day. When your final payment has been made you can pick up your jewellery, or, if required, your order can be delivered to you.

Lay-by conditions

• Lay-by will only be accepted for orders valued above $500.00AU
• The Customer is deemed to have agreed to the following terms.
  

Terms

Payments

• Credit card, Cash, Bank cheque & Money order payments will be accepted for lay-by orders (Unless stipulated).
• A minimum deposit of 15% is required at the time the lay-by is placed.
• You may choose the number of installments and intervals of installments from the options given at the commencement of the layby, for a period of up to 24 weeks.
• If your payment of an installment is declined that payment will be rescheduled for processing/charging on the following day.
• If a payment of an installment is declined four (4 ) times consecutively, your lay-by will be placed into suspension.
• Installments will be charged on the agreed date.
• The deposit and all installments will be charged in Australian currency (Australian dollars) calculated based on the total Australian dollar price of the layby order.

Received Goods

• Your order will be picked up by you or delivered to you when the final payment is made and all payments have cleared.

Lay by time frames

• The maximum time frame available for a lay-by is 26 weeks.
• A lay-by is not available for orders valued below $500 AU.

Cancellations

• Any cancellations made may incur financial penalties at MAX Diamonds discretion.
• If your order is in suspension for more than two months, without being rectified by you, your lay-by order may be cancelled at MAX Diamond’s discretion and all payments previously collected will be forfeited without refund.
