Pink diamonds are graded according to the intensity and hue of color in each individual stone.

Argyle diamonds use a colour scale ranging from purplish pink to pink champagne on a scale from 1 to 8, with one being the most intense color and eight the palest color.

Yellow diamonds, also known as canary diamonds, are graded according to the intensity and hue of yellow. The deeper the yellow, the more expensive it is. The colour grades range from “fancy vivid yellow” and “fancy intense yellow”, down to “dark yellow”.
