Lay-By

An interest free lay-by with MAX Diamonds is an ideal way to invest in fine jewellery that may be out of your immediate price range. Our lay-bys can run for up to 26 weeks, depending on the value of your order. You make an agreed deposit when you place your lay-by, usually of at least 15 per cent, and we divide the balance into monthly payments. You may nominate a starting date for payments to coincide with your payday. You can pick up your jewellery when you have made your final payment, or we can deliver it to you. Lay-bys can be used for jewellery valued at more than AUS$500.

Lifetime Upgrade

All MAX Diamonds customers have the option of our special lifetime upgrade. What does this mean? You can change the diamond in your setting for a larger size, higher colour or clarity grade, or even a different cut at any time. The high quality of our diamonds means we are happy to take them back in stock. We will then credit you with its price towards a new diamond of equal or greater value; you only pay the difference.

Jewellery Remodelling Service

Fashions and tastes change over time. You may own a family piece, for example, that has sentimental value, but is now too old-fashioned to wear. MAX Diamonds can redesign and remodel your outdated jewellery, giving it fresh life. You may wish to create something completely new, or remodel the jewellery to make it reminiscent of the original, while still being more wearable, using the same gemstones and metals in the piece. Bring your existing jewellery for remodelling in to our showroom, so we can advise you on your options and give you a free quote. We can also repair broken or damaged pieces. Jewellery remodelling is a marvellous way to revitalise and retain the value of jewellery that you feel is not wearable or practical at the moment.

 

Custom Jewellery

Nothing says, “I love you” quite like a piece of jewellery you have designed yourself. You tell us all the elements you’d like to have in your special customised piece – including the gemstones, preferred metal and design details – and we’ll create it for you by hand. We can also nurture your ideas and help you explain your vision for your ring, even if you are not yet 100 per cent sure about your suggestions.

 

Complimentary Services

Keep your diamonds looking their best with our free jewellery cleaning & checking service. All MAX Diamonds customers are welcome to book in at any time to have their jewellery cleaned and checked. It only takes five minutes and you can enjoy an espresso coffee, chilled water or champagne while you wait. We recommend that you have your jewellery cleaned and checked every six months to ensure that the precious gemstones retain their sparkle. Our Gemmologists and diamond graders will expertly check your settings, diamonds and any wear on your ring over the years to ensure your precious gemstones are secure and will last the test of time. Remember that your fine jewellery is delicate; it should always be handled with the utmost care. We recommend that your jewellery is stored securely when you aren’t wearing it.

Free Valuation Certificate

Our free valuation service means that you can obtain updated valuation documentation from us on your MAX Diamonds jewellery at any time, as required by you or your jewellery insurance provider.

Jewellery Insurance

MAX Diamonds highly recommends that you insure your jewellery. You can ask your existing insurance provider for jewellery insurance, or you can take out separate jewellery insurance independently with Q Report. MAX Diamonds is a Q Report Certified Jeweller, so your jewellery can be insured as soon as it leaves our showroom.
